ELIZABETH OLIVER

During her 20-year career as an occupational therapist, Elizabeth has been a passionate advocate for the essential role that allied health plays in optimising outcomes for older adults, particularly those living with dementia.

With a belief that enhancing mealtimes provides a pathway towards person-centred care, Elizabeth has led a range of high impact culture change initiatives in the aged care sector, culminating in her recent leadership role within “Maggie Beer’s Big Mission”, a social experiment designed to transform the mealtime experience in an aged care residence.

Elizabeth is a full-time lecturer at Curtin University, founder of Memory Box Collective, and convenor of the WA OT Aged Care Interest Group.
